We retrain the precise brain-body pathways behind balance, focus, and recovery, using objective testing to find the root cause, not just the symptom.
What We Treat
At Summit Neuro, we target the root causes behind your neurological, balance, and performance challenges, not just the symptoms. Using our advanced neurological diagnostic technology & analytics, we identify disrupted brain-body communication patterns, then design personalized programs to restore clarity, coordination, and control.
Our advanced neuro-functional exam identifies disrupted neural circuits after concussion or head injury. We retrain precise brain-body pathways to restore balance, focus, and performance.
We combine vestibular and ocular tracking tests to uncover the true source of imbalance. We then work on strengthening neural coordination and spatial awareness for lasting stability.
Our comprehensive autonomic testing includes assessments of heart-rate, vascular, and energy regulation patterns. Using this data, we can rhythm, improve regulation, and support your desired lifestyle.
We perform precision eye-tracking exams to locate visual timing or coordination deficits. We then refine ocular control, depth perception, and smooth visual motion.
How Testing Plays Out
We use some of the most precise VNG / eye-tracking technology to collect a comprehensive status of overall neurological health. These tests include oculomotor, cognitive, and vestibular tests, including insights not offered in other integrated systems. Here are some examples of testing and how they play out in lived experience:
The movement of your eyes, quick (called saccade) and slow (called pursuits), should be controlled, smooth, and accurate. When there's a breakdown, this can create fatigue, difficulty reading, eye strain, brain fog, and give key neurological indicators for how these factors may be affecting your condition. After measuring this biomarker, we build a plan to rehabilitate this vital aspect of how we live day-to-day.
Every time you turn your head, the world appears to visually move around you. Visually, this is called "Optokinetics". If the coordination of this movement to how fast you turn your head is not synchronized, this can produce anxiety, dizziness, nausea, or fatigue. Our equipment can give a complete map at various speeds, and begin rehabilitation to make quick, targeted changes.
In addition to optokinetics, how you receive the world visually, we also want to get an idea of how your inner-balance system is performing, called the vestibular system. Imbalances in this system creates perception of tilting, spinning, lightheadedness, fatigue, brain fog, and more. By getting a clear picture of how information from both your visual information and balance-system is relayed into your brain, we can provide answers and insights into neurological conditions that may be affecting you.
Aside from general eye movement in any direction, we also have to be able to see objects up close. When this system isn't functioning properly, which is extremely common after concussion, traumatic brain injury, or balance disorder, it creates fatigue, eye strain and headaches.
Why It Works
Acting as brain-and-body detectives, we identify specific imbalances and address them with precise, measurable interventions, so your time and effort go exactly where they'll make the greatest difference.
Your eyes are a direct window into brain function. We use advanced eye-movement and reflex analysis to reveal where circuits are inefficient or out of sync.
Validated assessments across balance, vestibular and cerebellar function, cognition, gait/posture, and autonomic regulation help us uncover why you feel the way you do.
Targeted oculomotor/vestibular training, coordinated movement and balance work, and breath and posture integrations strengthen weak links and optimize the nervous system.
